Full hands, so I couldn't take good pictures, but I was in Elk Grove, CA for #NoKings 2.0!!! Not a bad turn out for a suburb! I was happy not to have to deal with Sacramento traffic/parking.

It's been a long day, and yup I definitely look like shit. Going back to school is going to be tougher than I thought. But it's amazing how well a plate of delicious al pastor tacos (shout out to Tacos Alebrije) and reading one of my favorite banned books (Awakening, by Kate Chopin) boosts the soul.

Sacramento, making some noise. I hate crowds and summer weather with the white-hot passion of a thousand suns, but I hate fascism more. Fuck Trump, ICE, and all the chicken shit legislators and supreme court justices who are refusing to do their job and hold him in check.

Board games, horror movies, and hot wings. All in all, not a bad way to spend a weekend. But alas, Monday creeps relentlessly forward, rudely encroaching on my Sunday evening by making me mentally prepare for a whole-ass five days of work.
