its very... interesting as an anime and sort of old but i think it does things very well

.hack//SIGN is so fucking special and a very good chunk of it is that the "trapped in an MMO world and percieving it as physical in a way that the rest of the cast does not" is not framed as empowering or fantastical, but as an immediate and troubling sign of dissociation

the saga of being sick continues
went to sleep around 11, managed to doze off but woke up at 1am and coughed for like. an hour
had to do math to figure out if i could take cough syrup (since i already took meds like 3 hours prior but both have acetaminophen)
i am surviving off of naps

and so i bought a mini sewing kit. and (very shittily) fixed the hole while on my train ride back
