Saw Thunderbolts and it was good. I’d give it a B+. I need to know who thought giving Ava and Bucky blowouts for the post-credit scene was a good idea. That made no sense.

I made banana nut bread but forgot to add the butter. I was mortified. My mom voluntold me to make some for my neighbor’s mom for Mother’s Day. I’ve been working 6 days a week. It slipped my mind. Now I need to remake it because I don’t like putting half assed baked goods in the world.

The barista said I smelled good when I walked in the coffee shop this morning. I will be riding that high all weekend.

I had a decaf caramel macchiato for the first time in years (had a gift card) and I can’t sleep. Damn, my caffeine sensitivity!

I can’t believe this has to be said, but: You cannot tell the story of Jackie Robinson—as a ballplayer, serviceman, or human—without discussing our country’s history of racism.

I’ve finally accepted I can’t read dark romance or listen to true crime podcasts like I did prior to 2020. With everything going on now, I need to consume media that makes me happy and temporarily forget the world is a mess.

I’m an idiot. I had a chocolate chip cookie from my local bakery. Guess which brand of chocolate they use? Yep. 🤦🏽‍♀️

If you are sensitive to caffeine like I am, do not eat Guittard chocolate in the afternoon. I love their products. If I’m baking, I’m most likely using their chocolates. I ate a big ass chocolate chip after work (Monday Monday-ed too hard!) and now I can’t sleep.

Thank goodness: after an outpouring of public dissent, Lackland reversed its terrible decision and will thankfully be teaching recruits about the Tuskegee airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots again. A reminder that we must always push back: www.expressnews.com/news/article...
Air Force says new recruits will again learn about Tuskegee Airmen
The head of the service's San Antonio-based training command said a video about the pioneering Black aviators would remain in the basic training curriculum.
