My car battery somehow managed to go completely bad (after driving it less than 12 hours ago) & I mean zero power, no dome or dash lights, no way to lock/unlock (I left it unlocked), I can't even open the trunk bc there isn't an actual physical key slot for some reason??? And I'm wondering if I did

With respect to Mr. Stern, and IANAL, but there is definitely 5 votes to overturn, it isn't "sudden". This case wasn't good enough for them & only delays their quest to find a case that will allow them to overturn. I hope I am wrong, & we can revisit.
As I explained when Davis' lawyers filed this petition, there was virtually no chance that the Supreme Court would seriously consider her case. I doubt there are five votes to overturn Obergefell—but if there were, this case does not present a clean vehicle for doing so. slate.com/news-and-pol...
