Well that's odd. I thought we were told immigrants were taking all the jobs, which we'd immediately get back once we left the EU. It's almost as if they were, I don't know, lying.

Obama: "The weird videos of a US president with a crown on his head flying a fighter jet & dumping poop on American citizens - that's not even worth booing about. Because all of that is a distraction from the fact that your situation, your life has not gotten better. They do it so you won't notice"

Still the best book in the world for young, growing minds 😁
“I thought you were the Weather Man,” said Milo, very confused.

“Oh no,” said the little man, “I’m the Whether Man, not the Weather Man, for after all it’s more important to know whether there will be weather than what the weather will be.”

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

Playing around with MS Co-Pilot today, seeing how well it could create images. I'm staggered how well these AI things work. I had this idea for a pun based on a sausage driving a car. This is what I came up with. I have no artistic abilities whatsoever so this was thrilling!

@sunflowerlatte.bsky.social In reply to your post, this is so beautiful. A love of reading is one of the best gifts I think anyone can ever give a child, and they will be grateful to you their whole lives. Thank you for posting, it made me smile 🙂🙂

Just finished reading the quite wonderful 1983 by @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social. As someone who grew up just across the border (Derbyshire), at about the same time, as Benji, this was a particular delight to me, but I would recommend it to anyone. Full of love, joyful characters and fabulous tales.

Putting the clocks back means an extra hour in bed for some. To me that's a waste; it's an extra hour's reading time for me. That's why I'm up at 4.30am 😁

Just had to drop off a parcel at an Evri locker. There was a lady using it as I arrived. When she'd finished, she asked me if I needed help using it.
I daresay I would have worked it out, but she was a big help.
Such simple acts of kindness are so rare, but so beautiful.
Thank you, kind stranger 🙂
