and i maintain that, when dealing with fans from different cultural backgrounds, you can't assume they're working under a bias that's nonexisting for them, nor you can expect them to conform to rules created in a completely different context

i love being in this corner of the fandom that sees jayce for the kind hearted, gentle character he is, and i do agree he was inspired by the latino immigrant experience, but not everybody is going to read it this way, especially with how familiar the show feels for people living in other countries
'people misunderstand jayce's character and are often racist about it' and 'the arcane fandom is extremely us-centric' are statements that sadly coexist
you should curate your online space but people don't have to either be constantly aware of or cater to us sensibilities cmon
