The Coffin’s Tale~ more designs for @realgdt.bsky.social FRANKENSTEIN! The coffins were based on real Fisk coffins of the time & great ref pitched by awesome Costume Designer @katehawleycostume.bsky.social (an example of wonderful collab between depts) & worked up to final design through art dept.

I love the fact that we got to see two of the best Frankenstein and Dracula movies ever made within a year of each other. Golden age of classic horror remakes/reimaginings. Robert Eggers and @realgdt.bsky.social are geniuses.

Very sorry to hear that Tom Lehrer died. I think his macabre satires had a big impact on me as a kid. Poisoning Pigeons in the Part & his murderous Irish Ballad felt like happy, dark little secrets to me in the 8th grade. RIP!

Very sorry to hear that Tom Lehrer died. I think his macabre satires had a big impact on me as a kid. Poisoning Pigeons in the Part & his murderous Irish Ballad felt like happy, dark little secrets to me in the 8th grade. RIP!

It's obvious to say Clara's drawer is the most talked mystery in Rule of Rose. So I decided to share some thoughts. I admit I'm not a fan of the "there is a fetus" inside theory, it's an odd location to put something like that, but I agree it's a connection to Clara's abuse 🧵:

Today, I had to let Cassidy go. The end was quiet with me petting her and her purring. She was truly the greatest animal I've ever been around. Her love for me was unconditional. Rest in Peace, baby girl. You deserve it. If love alone could keep you alive, you would have lived forever! 🥰😻💔😢
