There’s no easy answers for Starmer’s government confronting Reform. But it should understand the opposition. Not ‘ordinary Britons with legitimate grievances’, but a trans-national, far right propaganda machine built patiently over decades with Russian & US funders among others.

I watched the season 7 Simpsons episode ‘Much Apu About Nothing’ last night. It explicitly shows how anti immigrant legislation exists to shift blame onto innocent minorities and makes people act like irrational fucking monsters. It’s cool how we’ve learned exactly nothing since 1996.

The fact that they have not lifted half a buttock to assist Palestine but soared like fucking eagles to rescue this barnacled creep is all the evidence we need that the government is ruderless.
Graham Linehan has argued for years that "trans activists" are the establishment that he is fighting against, yet, when he incites violence against trans people, the whole UK establishment - the prime minister, health secretary, Met police chief and the entire Uk Press - mobilise to defend him.

Weird, because literally all my life the St George’s Cross has been almost totally associated with far right racists, homophobes, thugs and football hooligans - a group apparently that now includes the Labour Party.
Home Secretary says "when we wave the union flag, when we wave the St George's cross" it is to represent the values of Britain, which include compassion towards asylum seekers. Yvette Cooper trying to give the recent flag-waving a different slant.
