this is why i always am cautious of politicians because how can you want to be a leader of a country when most people would rather you not be the leader anymore? you have to be incredibly self centered think like that. clearly if you’re failing, it’s time to go and let someone else take the lead.

maybe all this gerrymandering madness will actually create bipartisan incentive to ban gerrymandering
trump creating the incentive and permission structure for democrats to do insane 2010-era gerrymandering of their own may turn out to be one of the biggest self-owns of all time. dems are now pretty likely to emerge with an advantage from the 2025-26 redistricting wars

my concern with crockett is her weird allegiance to israel that is not meeting the moment. she has not only taken monetary support from aipac but she has reaffirmed she believes in a 'special relationship' between the us and israel. wanting the genocide to end against palestinians is not enough.

more people should switch to tidal from spotify. it literally costs the same, it doesn’t have all that podcast and audiobook stuff, *and* it pays artists better. i’m sure it’s not as ethical as it should be, but it’s 10x better than spotify considering that its CEO invests in AI war companies.
