The kind of quiet that makes even the slightest of movements seem to echo for miles. It forces Jeongguk to move carefully, each step deliberate as he dodges the debris. While in Seoul the buildings towered over them, eroded and destroyed but still forcing them to walk under their shadows, the buildings in Busan have all but been flattened. Most of them are left half standing, rooms exposed as the roof lays 10 floors below, crumbled to the pavement. Nature still grows in humanity's wake, but with less of a purpose here. The ivy clings to the walls, arms stretched tall and wide as though to hug the bricks. Trees stand proud in the centre of what once was bustling office buildings, reaching up to the clear sky where the ceiling no longer covers it.
