Not alive, but they do have a personality, you rely on them and they rely on you, you get to know em and put time and care in, go on adventures together… it makes inevitabilities harder, but I’d rather that than a life only knowing cars as bland, simply useful appliances.

Yeah, we’re definitely almost a quarter-century on from these safety standards (thankfully). If only that didn’t rip away how cars from earlier years drove.
