Just make it exist first. You can overwork it, remove the motion and life from your roughs, and polish the thing until it's completely soulless - but more impressive to the people for whom art's greatness is measured by its proximity to reality - later.

Fucking absurd suggestion that the process of learning a skill is "hazing." Frankly, if you feel like the time and effort involved in becoming proficient at something is tantamount to being humiliated, then you already have a lot more to work on than just your ability to draw.

I think some very online millennials are adapting poorly to no longer being the only person in their circle with a wide but shallow pool of nerd trivia. Sorry man, we all know that Viggo broke his toe. We know Harrison Ford was sick. Gotta go deeper than reddit now for new material.

I think Shadow of the Erdtree is very good, generally. Very pretty, big spectacle, tons to do, all good stuff. I'm kind of not enjoying any of these boss fights, though. That "learning the matchup" feeling I got from the Souls games is mostly gone here.
