That time I was actually able to get a seat at the Kirby Cafe. Only because the pandemic had kept everyone home. I asked for a table and the lady asked me “do you have a reservation?” There was only one other person in the entire place.

As someone now way too familiar with all of the EGM covers, that is absolutely one of my favorites.
We did TWO ME covers over at Play—one for the mag and one for Girls of Gaming—but neither was nearly as good.

Reminiscing about when Game Informer —pre-Gamestop acquisition— was owned by Funcoland and their editor Paul Anderson happily hooked me up with two Sega-CDX consoles (super reasonable price too) and now I can’t find either of them. Pretty sure they were lost during the ZiffDavis days. Bummed.

Forgot how unexpectedly funny Gran Torino is at times.
Thoroughly impressed with #FFVII on Switch 2. Doesn’t have ray tracing of course or any of the PS5 bells and whistles but it’s a rock solid 30fps and finally playable for me since the kids are always on my TV. Dunno how the textures hold up, but it’s infinitely playable w no compromise.

I bought a blu-ray off eBay and it shipped from Canada. When it hit the States it cost me a $10 tariff. So, anyone under the illusion that all the European countries Trump is threatening with tariffs if they don’t support giving him Greenland are the ones who actually pay them are living a fantasy.

Got a second dock at the exorbitant Nintendo rate which I justify for its ability to accept dock updates (lol dock updates) and because it comes with a charger/ISB-C cable and an HDMI cable, of which I have a million but at least now I can migrate my Switch 2 from office to living room easily now.

Considering I would kill to see FOTC perform, I feel it would be irresponsible of any LA-based friends with the capacity to see this show to not buy tickets immediately.

I love the gameplay of Assassins Creed Odyssey. Such a great action RPG. I dunno how they top it tbh. But getting stuck on this screen is a major buzzkill.
