I have come to the realization that I am not going to be able to do any october art challenges PROPERLY due to being busy during at least 3/4 of it. The good news is I started working on #cringetober this morning and I have already finished 4 of em >:) BUUUT I keep being overly ambitious AF...

e.g:

Trico art doll

I made a few Trico dolls back then in 2017/18 and this is one of those few creatures that I wanted to repeat after so many years. Surprisingly, I sculpted his head 90% from memory and only opened references to touch up some details. Definitely a quite memorable fella.

I'm trying to figure out, if I make stickers of my OCs, what's the best style to do it in... Chibi feels classic, but it's not my usual art style, and I can't decide if I like it (and if I do, how extreme a chibi?). Leaning towards more realistic tbh, but then - eye, nose style etc...

I keep trying to trick myself into doing that thing where you draw backgrounds like they're characters to add personality, and make them more interesting. Alas, I keep being defeated by my mortal enemy: I Do Not Want To Draw Backgrounds. None of my tricks work.... he is simply too powerful

Always and forever sick of AI generated images but I'm also sick of talking to people about it because nobody irl takes me seriously, so from now on my form of rebellion is to quietly keep making my own art and writing my own stories and to never use gpt, at all, ever.
