Postdoc at Copenhagen University investigating the effects from aging on learning fine motor skills and their relationships with functional networks.
Talking about #neuroscience to school kids at Lund University today! I love #popsci you always get some of the weirdest and most interesting questions

New paper from us on probabilistic motor sequence learning! We show that learners in a serial reaction time task can generate new sequences that follow the structure of the finite-state grammar used in the acquisition phase.

A grammar of movements: Acquisition and retrieval of biased probability distributions in a finite-state grammar-based serial reaction time task
Motor sequence learning research has been primarily concerned with simple frequentist patterns, thereby neglecting the motor system's ability to handl…

30 innovative forskere har netop fået Lundbeckfondens Experiment 2024.
Med denne bevilling skabes der mulighed for nytænkende og eksperimenterende projekter, som kan udfordre traditionelle forestillinger inden for #neurovidenskab.

In the coming 2 years, the Lundbeck foundation has given me funds to explore the roles of left and right IFG in probabilistic auditory sequence learning in a motor context. I am beyond excited! lundbeckfonden.com/the-inferior...

Teaching a course and then being the examiner is a bit weird to me. I just heard myself describe it as "I was a teacher trying to make sure that you learn as much as possible according to your conditions and experiences. Now I am an examiner robot, tasked to judge everyone objectively and fairly."

I am happy to announce that I am now lecturer on the audiology programme at @lund-university.bsky.social and will hold courses on acoustics and signal processing. So in the foreseeable future, I will split my time between Copenhagen and Lund.
