Foolishly Trusting The Process since 2013
A+ crowd shot game at least

I hate to do the "if this happened under Biden" thing, but if Pete Buttigieg was out here asking people to dress nicer, the Fox News crowd would be losing their goddamn minds and whining about the government telling us how to dress
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

Think about all the scaremongering Republicans did over this guy and now he has Trump cheesin' like a dope. It's almost like you shouldn't take Fox News and others seriously!
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

This article pretty much nails it on the admin side except that I don't think it conveyed the level of apathy the fans felt after during the final years with Fuente. The guy didn't care about recruiting in-state, didn't engage with the fans, made the players eat in silence during team dinners, etc.
✍️ What happened to Virginia Tech football? How did a consistent winner fall off the map?

Grace Raynor and I talked to people around the program to figure out what went wrong, and if James Franklin can fix things before it’s too late.

“We’re extremely behind.”

She is repulsive for her anti-trans rhetoric and grifting alone. The fact she turned a blind eye towards actual abuse by her coaches at UK towards her teammates is fucking shameful and shouldn't be ignored here.
I’ve spent a lot of the last three years investigating the rise of anti-trans politics. Often, it came back to the controversy over trans women athletes.

So I teamed up with @pablo.show to look into the leading figure on the issue: Riley Gaines.

How right-wing superstar Riley Gaines built an anti-trans empire
The swimmer tied a trans woman for fifth. The MAGA industrial complex took care of the rest.

Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Caesars, etc are all inedible?

Always has been.
Late-stage MAGA means accepting that things will never be great again

“Things happen.”
A lot of people didn’t like the Washington Post journalist who was tortured and dismembered with a bone saw for writing critically about the man sitting next to me
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

former Penn State coach James Franklin is expected to be hired as the next head coach at Virginia Tech, according to Matt Zenitz of @cbssports.bsky.social.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown said he did not mean to offend anyone by doing President Donald Trump’s signature shimmy after scoring a TD Sunday against the Washington Commanders, a game Trump attended.

Trump to Republican senators: "I thought we'd have a discussion after the press leaves about what last night represented and what we should do about it and also about the shutdown and how that relates to last night. If you read the pollsters, the shutdown was a big factor, negative for Republicans."

Went to some National Parks out in Utah last week. It was great because you can literally touch grass with no cell service and avoid whatever stupid shit is going on with the world. Highly recommend!
thinking about having a NICE weekend interacting with people in person, doing community activities, maybe watching some sports. How about a Halloween parade? With a beer in hand from the brewery along the route?? Rivalry HS football game? Time to live offline baby

The "sea drugs, the drugs coming in by sea" is giving major "the poison for Cusco, Cusco's poison" type of vibes. Also, like his obsession with the term groceries, this makes me want put my head through a wall
Trump: "Our sea drugs as they call them -- they use the term 'sea drugs,' the drugs coming in by sea -- are like 5% of what they were a year ago ... the land is gonna be next. And we may go to Congress and tell them about it ... the sea drugs are almost dead."

Thought on it some more: although they failed again, they absolutely played high-level baseball throughout the series. the dodgers just had a super-team that did it better. they would've beat any other NL team, but that's the breaks
