For all the rhetoric about Toronto trying to be a world class city, I couldn’t think of a more destructive motion for that goal than the one Chris Moise is planning to bring to City Council on April 23rd.

Holy…fuck.
🧪Holy shit. The Covid.gov website directs to the WH website claiming that covid came from a lab leak. And they are blaming Anthony Fauci. And calling the NIH a failure. I am utterly speechless. Anti-science propaganda running its wheels in real time.
Lab Leak: The True Origins of Covid-19
THE ORIGIN “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak

On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

Hello! The US housing market has gotten very expensive, but I still dream of one day owning a home in a walkable neighborhood. In that spirit, I'm offering my consulting services. If you support the Trump tariffs, I can help you find US suppliers. Let me show you some examples. 🧵

My thoughts on a remarkable heritage restoration at the corner of Yonge and Queen — and the inevitability of erasure, even by preservationists.
In Downtown Toronto, a Heritage Icon Quietly Reclaims the Spotlight
ERA's elegant and meticulous restoration of 2 Queen Street West revives the 19th century at the expense of the 20th.

Hey, Bluesky Canadians.

The people who run Shopify are DOGE supporters.

Maybe let’s not spend any money with any company selling their wares on Shopify.

It would be nice (Canadian) to let the company know why you’re not buying their goods, so they have an opportunity to do something different.

We’ve been thinking about this for 2 days. How so many people get fed this garbage that they think is news but it doesn’t exist. We ought to be at war with meta.

(Not an original thought but when it appears in your house…)
My mom is asking about this article. Came across her FB feed. Seems like a spoof of the cbc? Can’t find any other mention of this.

What a FB trash heap feeding millions of people.
