It would be a mistake to say the government and courts don’t believe the exculpatory evidence. It’s not even accurate to say they don’t care. They disbelieve it as a sacrament. Their entire faith is premised on a conviction meaning guilt. Showing them evidence is asking them to be apostates.

When I was 10, I met Dean Smith in a Los Angeles Arby’s. To wish him luck against UCLA, I bought him a milk with my very own money, and he spent about 10 minutes talking to me about life and courage and basketball. He was wonderful.
