Accepted an invite to my bro-in-law's family party for Thanksgiving and its time to submit myself to the mortifying ordeal of 50+ people I've only met 3 or 4 times somehow all knowing my name while I struggle to remember theirs 🫠

If I had a nickel for every time I hopped on facebook and went "wow I didn't know x had a sister" about someone I had fallen out of touch with only to realize it's actually the person I know, transitioned, I would only have 2 nickels but it's still funny it happened twice

Last year I only prepared 40 treats for trick or treaters and ran out early. This year I've prepared 60....hopefully it'll be enough. I'm just so scared to overbuy and have too many leftovers 😭 I can never tell how into trick or treating kids are these days in the neighborhood

I do get a kick out of sports cars blazing down the road going 30+ mph above speed limit to pass me only to pull up in the same parking lot after me because of stoplights and them getting stuck behind other cars

Open it up to the most confused tangle of cables I've ever seen who installed the previous light??? 😭 😭 Now I have to find an electrician.
