trying to get my brain around the whole hockey scandal as a non-parent with no direct connection is hard enough … i can’t imagine what the involved kids and parents and friends and coaches and the hockey community here are dealing with. it’s sickening and horrible.

i love that carol burnett is doing podcasts.
but it makes my brain itchy because they're basically repeat interviews. which i get ... she's 90-something and a legend ... but she told amy and michelle the same stories.
this is not hate for the queen. it's my brain being annoying about repetition.

i have my post-op appointment with the eye surgeon this morning. i think my eye is doing well with her new lens, so fingers crossed he thinks so, too.

i just read the words "breakout sessions" and i want to cry.
being focused after 6pm is asking a lot. requiring interaction with other humans is cruel.

my printer is haunted.
yesterday it wouldn't print because it was busy with another (non-existent) computer.
8 hours later, it printed half of what i wanted printed.
and this morning it printed the whole thing.

a friend told me a few days ago that truro was booking into november, so i called this morning and got my appointment for november 24.

from my windows, it doesn’t look like we got a lot of snow in truro … definitely some drifting, but cocoa didn’t have to plow a new pee path in the yard this morning.
