Absolutely! Both because you have until the 16th to put nominations forward and also having just Googled what that looks like (haven’t gotten around to BUGONIA yet but it is on my to-watch list)

Generally speaking, the minute you see the word “Fabio” attached to an article about romance other than as history, you can throw the entire thing into the garbage. It’s a sneer, designed as communication from one person who thinks romance is stupid to another.
fuck this lady, fuck the nyt reporter, fuck all of this. fuck amazon for introducing the KU page read model that makes this possible, fuck our tech overlords.

I’ve been seeing a little of SF at a time every time my partner and I visit his family (usually a day trip a trip), and it’s such a lovely way to explore a city

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

Correct, but it's only a one-year ban on Rand's sweater, so it could definitely compete again in the future!
January 29, 2026 at 7:11 PM
Also, if you want to rec sweaters from long-running cozy British shows like SHETLAND, CALL THE MIDWIFE, and ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, *please* be specific! There are so many sweaters on those shows that I could probably pick candidates from them for a good decade and never repeat any of them

Ironically, I set this up as a "get some folks to subscribe" drive (hence the chance to win a free hat from me) and I've lost several subscribers since I sent it out. So right now, you possibly have a better chance of winning than when I first posted it!

Gonna re-up this every so often until mid-February because I like stats, people telling me where the good sweaters are (I have a tentative bracket filled but am open to more recs), and not enough people have filled it out, sorry not sorry! forms.gle/Moefy1tu7WeM...

I counted 41 across three days. On one hand, it’s the UES. But it’s also one of the crappier AMCs, so why not just go to a different theater instead? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t think we should make concessions to the Masked Murderers Guild of America. I don’t think we should compromise so the Masked Murderers Guild of America stops using kidnapped kids from schools as bait. I thought this was already illegal. The Masked Murderers Guild of America should not exist.

Anyone can fill out the survey, but the contest is US-only because I am still unemployed and I def can't afford those shipping costs/tariffs bsky.app/profile/mich...
