Uh, maybe we should keep AI-driven surgical tools OUT OF PEOPLE’S FUCKING HEADS?!?
“Since AI was added to the device the FDA has received unconfirmed reports of at least 100 malfunctions & adverse events…Most allegedly involved errors in which the TruDi Navigation System misinformed surgeons about the location of their instruments while they were using them inside patients’ heads”

I really would love to see something replace Discord. It’s the clunkiest, most difficult to navigate platform, but unfortunately so many communities I would live to be part of use it for their primary communications. I have tried. It is just awful and painful.

What this ad doesn’t show: Ring also rolled out facial recognition for humans. I wrote to them months ago about this. Their answer? They won’t ask for your consent.

This definitely isn’t about dogs—it’s about mass surveillance.

When I worked for Reason magazine during Trump's rise to power in 2016, I was explicitly forbidden by the editor in chief from writing about Trump's racism, or the violence and racism at his rallies.

It was a "sideshow," I was told.

Analysis: we fired all our arts and culture writers
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

So wait, do the new MAHA nutrition guidelines recommend not just an abundance of meat, but also ferments and human ears? Sorry, had the volume muted when Mike Tyson was talking in the commercial.

I was shocked when a coworker said she scrolls TikTok videos on her phone while watching TV and then I learned that LOTS of people do that.

We are doomed.

Yo man, can you stop by 7-11 on your way over to watch the game tonight and grab a couple bags of ferments?

RFK Jr on what he'll eat during the Super Bowl: "I am on a carnivore diet so I just eat meat and ferments, and I'm very happy with that. So I'm probably going to have yogurt."

Imagination, which is not fantasy, is a quasi-divine faculty which perceives right away, without recourse to philosophical methods, the intimate and secret relations between things, their correspondences and analogies.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.

Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Get them out!
