Just casually starting These Summer Storms and immediately being blown away by how beautifully @sarahmaclean.bsky.social writes! I guess I can forgive this book for coming out before Duchess’ story 😀

Happy pub day to this literary masterpiece! @adrianaherrera.bsky.social thank you for writing a book that not only taught me about reproductive justice and colonialism but was also incredibly romantic and sexy #romancelandia #booksky #historicalromance #romancebooks

Oh great. I guess I’ll see you all at antidepressant or stimulant camp? I’ll be the one too tired to get out of bed

I love kids and have always pictured being a mother but the cost of living and loss of roe make me question if I will ever have kids. As much as I love children I love being alive and not creating a child I can’t care for more

Today I wanted to thank @oliviawrites.bsky.social for reminding me it’s ok to laugh when it feels like the world is burning down or you are being chased by zombies. I needed that!

Preorder Zomromcom! You want it!

As a developmental psychologist I’m currently loving Into the Woods by Jenny Holiday! It is such a good embodiment of the idea that people grow and change their whole lives not just as kids or in new adulthood 😀 #romancelandia

The logical part of my brain: I need to finish my holiday romance TBR
The mood reader part of my brain: you should read Sweet Obsession by @kateerobert.com

Anyone else fighting with their brain today #romancelandia

P.S. I’m reading Sweet Obsession

I wanted to get people’s opinion on mental health depictions in romance book. Do you think it should always be accurate? Lots of people get the wrong diagnosis so that’s realistic but does it further misinformation? Also I know authors aren’t necessarily experts. Is this a place for beta readers?

I have been in a major reading slump since the election but apparently best friends fake dating was the fix it needed 💙

Loved this one!
