Kicking off WETSCAPES 2.0! This week marked the start of the first @dfg.de collaborative research center dedicated to researching rewetted fens. Over 50 scientists discussed the 100 screening sites, 5 core sites, and 2 landscape-level experiments. And we installed the first of our 1,000 sensors!

Today, for the first time in my life, I signed a permanent working contract. A milestone I will make sure to celebrate, latest during the weekend! Feelings are mixed, joy and relief are prominent, yet there is so much left to fight for, for me personally as well as others in academia #ichbinhanna
