What four classic video games do you find yourself replaying no matter how old they are?

These are mine. Seeing the release dates of these makes me feel old, hahah:

I've been told I look like Tina Fey a few times, which I can kind of see. But one time, someone told me I looked like Winona Ryder. Both of these compliments are very flattering and unhinged as a result lol.
Forget insults, what’s the most unhinged *compliment* you’ve ever received?

This devastating piece describes what it’s like to die of blood cancer. It also describes what it feels like to do so while your cousin is Secretary of Health & Human Services & a ghoul. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
A Battle with My Blood
When I was diagnosed with leukemia, my first thought was that this couldn’t be happening to me, to my family.

"You don't need a reason to help people."

Zidane is not only my favorite FF character, but one of my favorite video game characters of all time. I try to live by this quote as well. He is an inspiration, and I adore his journey in Final Fantasy IX.

This is a very powerful sentiment, not just for games, but all art forms. Many of the movies and shows I love most now I didn't like initially, or I had doubts about. Too often I have been pestered about experiencing things a certain or "right" way. This is validating.
Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.

I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

The Kingdom Hearts series is near and dear to my heart, and was very transformative. It made me laugh and cry. It shaped my love for incredibly endearing characters and powerful redemption stories. Its music drew me into how impactful video games could be. I hadn't played anything like it.
I have a question for Kingdom Hearts fans.

Why is it SPECIAL to you?

What is it about this game that impacted you as a gamer and why do you appreciate it?
