My kid was born 20 years ago. I recall when she was a baby thinking "Elon says we'll have self driving cars by the time she's 16 so she'll never have to learn to drive." Instead he made cars that explode and burn the passengers alive and a robot that makes photo realistic child porn. What a rip off.

My family and I marathoned all of Stranger Things from beginning to end over the last week or so. Season 5 is tremendous. Really satisfying wrap to an epic series, which is such a rarity. Shows of this caliber come along just a few times per generation. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

AI can not "deeply regret" anything. It's meaningless. A machine can not feel remorse. If a car kills a person, we don't expect an apology from it. We prosecute the human driver of the machine.
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

I went to high school with Brandy Carlisle's twin band mates, Phil and Tim. One day, someone called in a bomb threat to the school so everyone was evacuated to the football field. Phil and Tim began running around holding up a small box shouting "I GOT IT! I GOT IT!"
