WATCHING WEEKEND STORM: Trends in data continue to point towards a more northerly solution on this weekend's storm. I still think the primary impact will be central/southern Indiana, but with that bitter cold air (see previous post), any moisture thrown our way will be VERY fluffy snow.

A century ago this week, classes began in the new Saint Joseph Grade School at Hill Street and Colfax Avenue in South Bend. The school remains in operation today.
St. Joseph Parish and the first St. Joseph School were established by Rev. Edward Sorin -- Notre Dame's founder -- in the 1850s.
