Antimicrobial amyloids are amazing!! So much we can learn from frogs!!! 🐸 cross-β fibrils, α-helical supramolecular structures, or multi-layered nanotubes. How crazy is that???
Big thanks to Fabio and co-authors, the cryoEM facility at the CSSB and EMBL P14 @ DESY PETRA-III.

Huge congratulations to my first PhD student—and truly one-of-a-kind scientist and person—Einav Tayeb-Fligelman, on accepting a faculty position at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem! Reminiscent of the path - from Technion's synchrotron trips, to celebrating your new role in my CSSB/DESY lab💕

What an incredible event with ~100(!!!) participants! Special thanks to Annemarie, Georg, Judith, DESY ITT, et al., as well as CSSB for hosting and Helmholtz & Life Science Nord for their generous support. Looking forward to the butterfly effect: new ideas, connections, and collaborations to come!
Together, with DESY, Life Science Nord and the HIHeal network, CSSB was happy to host the "Linking Hamburg Infection Research to Industry" event last Thursday. The innovative workshop combined lectures, pitches, networking opportunities and CSSB core facility tours.
