As we all celebrate Halloween this year, it’s a good time to mention the Celtic festival of Samhain, which is the root of the holiday we all know today.

Samhain marks the end of harvest and the beginning of winter, and where the line between worlds thins 🧡🖤 🎃

Fantastic evening at @IrelandEmbGB at the launch of Aunties in England telling the story of the changing relationship between Britain and Ireland through the stories of emigrant Irish women who travelled to London in the 1960s-1980s

One of the best articulations of our story and how Fontaines D.C. were inspired to write the first song ‘In ár gcroíthe go deo’ on their album Skinty Fia.

Who doesn’t want to be turned into a Simpsons character 😉

Sad news this morning hearing the passing of Pope Francis, the first Latin American Pontiff aged 88 years. His was a story to be heard and made sure we heard the story of the poor and immigrants.

This will be our 7th Mothers Day without mum and this week we found the most precious video of her singing, filmed over 30 years ago.
Margaret sings ‘A mother’s love is a blessing’, a sign maybe, definitely a precious find to let us know she is always with us.
Happy Mother’s Day to all mums 💚

Live performances always manage to connect, these stories are very different but at the centre are two women with a story to tell!

Myra's Story - Irish Play by Brian Foster, a tragic story of middle aged homeless alcoholic Myra.

Am I Irish Yet? By Kate Kerrigan a funny and relatable story.
