It’s a Golden Orb Weaver spider. You can just see the web shining in the sunlight. It’s does look like spun gold but my phone or my photography skills failed to show it well.

For #ArtAdventCalendar today a Tropical Mockingbird from last year who was keeping a beady eye on an intruder who had wandered in to his territory! 🤍 I liked the Mockingbirds guarding pose and thought the atmospheric conditions made for a painterly photograph! 😊 🪶 📷
