Recently I opened a PDF and immediately a message popped on the screen that said "this document appears long. Would you like an AI summary?" The document was only five pages long.
Getting annoyed that an AI "research assistant" is bolted onto everything, including clunky ebook readers.
No I don't want fake sparknotes on each chapter.

The Big Ugly Bill is-in part-a smokescreen to cover the MAGA agenda

Which is to destroy the Affordable Care Act

This was ALWAYS the plan

"The bill 'will move us as a nation back to the same percentage of uninsured before Obamacare'"

But it's worse

Rural hospitals will close

And people will die

First, the fascist said he will deport undocumented immigrants with a criminal record but he is deporting all undocumented immigrants. Now his regime is saying they will deport naturalized citizens with a criminal record but they will deport us all - 24.5 million of us!
The White House has ordered the US Dept. of Justice to prioritize denaturalization: voiding the citizenship of US citizens.

Who will it denaturalize? "Any" case that it "determines to be sufficiently important".

Point 10 leaves the criteria opaque and arbitrary.

Republicans refuse to admit that they are hurting ordinary, hard-working Americans... To do otherwise would be confession of their inhumanity. ..MAGA politicians convince themselves those who rely on vital benefits are unfit and undeserving. Republicans dub them “rats” or “vermin” or “murderers.”

Today, USAID shuts down.

Experts say this could lead to 14 million deaths by 2030—including 4.5 million babies and children under 5.

Let’s not forget, Trump recently let a warehouse full of food aid rot rather than feed the hungry.

This isn’t America first. It’s America heartless.
