I'm starting to think sometimes when conservatives ask "What is a woman?", they're just asking a sincere question, born out of genuine confusion.

We all knew it was never about legality. "Upholding the law" was just a convenient rhetorical bunker for them to retreat to, so they didn't have to defend their actual bigotry.

To state the obvious (because it seems necessary these days). If you look at South Africa and you conclude that we ought to be especially concerned about the treatment and wellbeing of white South Africans, then you are completely delusional. - and I say this as a white South African myself.

I'm no expert on fashion but can someone ask #KanyeWest if we really needed to see another iteration of that same "my wife is effectively naked and I'm dressed like a bouncer at a club" look.

If your business relies on paying workers a starvation wage, then you obviously don't have a sustainable business model. - and if this problem is widespread in any sector, then obviously there's a bigger economic problem that needs to be addressed.
