My favorite part of Pluribus is how it mocks the hypothetical brba/BCS folks who tuned out because it's not in the universe lol

Great they juiced up everything in iOS 26 so now I can feel inadequate about my game animations while procrastinating.

Sorry for no game-related updates if anyone here is paying attention. Game is fully functional at this point, but running into some issues in the Mandarin localization. Hopefully will be out by year end.

Why did Pink Floyd produce only mid until the midpoint of Meddle and then suddenly begin exclusively producing peak?

Crazy that in 2025 entering the words "X birthday" on a day event in Google calendar does not automatically set the recur to every year.

Accidentally Ctrl+Z'd in Shotcut and crashed the entire app instantly. I love C++.

In my free time I've been playing a neat roguelike called Ancient Domains of Mystery that's years older than I am. I find medieval RPGs a little cliche these days but this one is great (plus it should be getting a pass anyway since it was early to the party)

My Microsoft hatred over the last few days still hasn't calmed down. I remember, maybe around 2018-2020, Windows 10 actually improving with things like WSL and Windows Terminal. Seems in 2025 there's been an about turn into enshittification and bloatware. Tragic. Will never daily drive Windows again

I just realized the three dots on the steamworks logo are supposed to be an abstract representation of the steam logo.

Having severe trouble cross-compiling to windows with Steamworks. I suspect this is entirely to do with Microsoft being crap and not letting people just download their stupid dependencies for the steam dll. Not sure though.

There are so many parts of this I love: the mixture of agriculture and commerce(!), the ability to use social skills to influence your customers(!!!), integration of small scale exchanges with the macroeconomy (!!!!!). Ahhhhh!!!
A few new followers, so wanted to mention that Mercator will be a part of the upcoming June Steam Next Fest! It's a shopkeeper game about ancient trade from India to Rome and in between. Check out the trailer and the Steam page:
