Thank you, Dancers Over 40! BMHF was honored to attend. 💜
What an honor it was to be invited to the 50th Anniversary of @chicagomusical! A big thank you to my friend @johnsefakis for creating a wonderful night of community and for all the work he does running @dancersover40official. 💜💃👠

BMHF will be attending the 50th Anniversary of Chicago tomorrow night at @54below.bsky.social — and representing mental health, while we're at it!

We’re here to support the demographic of mature artists/dancers who need and deserve mental health care in our industry. Thanks to Dancers Over 40! 💫🎩

Our founder represented BMHF at the 2025 Chita Rivera Awards! 💚🧠💫

The dance community needs mental health literacy now more than ever.

BMHF couldn’t be more proud to connect with so many — this is truly the next step in Broadway’s evolution. Needless to say, I think Chita would agree! 🎩
Mental health was represented at the Chita Rivera Awards last night! 🧠🎩 What a privilege it was for @mentalhealthbway.org to attend dance’s biggest night and connect with so many who recognize the power mental health resources can have on our industry.

👀 healthy artists make better art…
Just left a ballet class in Manhattan where the instructor made two people cry while the rest of us danced on eggshells. Tell me, when will “tough love” instruction be a thing of the past?

P.S. — the immense stress didn’t make anyone dance better, FYI

The time IS now.

Eating disorders are not just a public health crisis but a performance industry crisis — take it from me, the founder of BMHF who spent over 8 years battling anorexia nervosa as a professional dancer in theatre.

BMHF is thrilled to collaborate with NEDA this year! 💙💚
Cue the excitement! 🎉

BMHF is proudly partnering with the National Eating Disorders Association for this year’s Eating Disorder Awareness Week (Feb. 24th - Mar. 2nd).

Join our efforts to create urgency around the need to recognize eating disorders as a public health crisis because The Time is Now.

Audition anxiety is real and rooted in both physiology and psychology, affecting performers with increased heart rate, racing thoughts, and heightened self-consciousness.

Understanding these complex responses is crucial for supporting theatre professionals in their pursuit of success. 🧠💫
