Just announced on WeeklyMTG: Coming in 2027, we're holding the Magic Limited Championship!

Players can qualify for this all-Limited event in 2026, with a $500,000 prize pool and Top 8 players getting invites to Worlds!

A summary for the Magic Limited Championship. Event takes place in 2027, with Qualifying events in 2026. The event has a $500,000 prize pool, similar to a Pro Tour. Top 8 players receive an invite to the 2027 World Championship. How to Qualify: Top 16 drafters from the 2026 Premier Play Season World Champion Limited Championship Qualifiers (LTQs) at RCs, Spotlight Series, Magic Cons, and MTG Arena Hall of Fame players can use their yearly PT Invite.
