Our football team is going to the third round of state playoffs this Friday. It’s the first time in 12 years they have even won district. Maybe that accounts for some of the reason all the students seem to have lost their minds the past week or so.

Homecoming week was 2 weeks ago at our school. Here are my outfits. Check Alt text for context. Homecoming theme was “Games”

It’s been a while! Got a notification a while back that MS users were being blocked because of a new age restriction law here, but seems they figured out a way to comply with that and still allow us to be here. So yay!

Guen insisted on “helping” me with my back to school closet organization.

Last day of summer vacation! (Even though I won’t make it to school tomorrow because of a final post-surgery checkup) So I brought out the fancy coffee to get me through “beginning of school morning blahs”.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. The world is better because of you. ❤️ and especially to my mother who is always there for us.

I do not know or really even care much about any form of “sports ball”, but I would like for the Chiefs to not win today. And honestly the only reasoning I have for that, is just vibes.

I’ve pulled something in my lower back again, so I spent yesterday with some enjoyable cozy games. Finished up Wytchwood and went back to get some more trophies in Strange Horticulture. I recommend them both.

Ended up listening to “We didn’t start the fire” remake by Fallout Boy this morning on the way to school and that is one heavy way to start a Wednesday morning. Am a bit depressed now.

It’s a Mississippi snowstorm! Everything is shut down. Everything, I tell you.

Blessed MLK day to all of you out there. May we not be complacent in the face of injustice.

We had some AI training on our first day back from Christmas break at school. It was given by the VP and she informed us we had an assignment to use ChatGPT by the end of the month. She asked me in the hall this week if I’d done it yet and I just smiled and shook my head. Wondering if I’m actually

It is finally Friday and I can’t express how much I need this coming 3 day weekend. I spent a good 30 seconds yesterday afternoon not understanding why I couldn’t unlock my house door while using my schoolroom key. The keys in question. . .

I love cold, lazy Sundays. Just enjoying some video games while my pups snuggle.

I was given a miniature bookshelf for Christmas and decided I wanted to change the generic books that came with it, so I’ve spent quite a lot of time making miniature book covers for books that I loved that we read in book club (plus a few old comfort books) #booksky 📚

Mom had Christmas ornaments made this year as presents. She had one of each of my pets made. They turned out really well!

Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope your day is filled with happiness even over the simplest things (which often happen to be the best things). May you tear in to enjoying every bit of today, like Sookie tore in to her new duck toy.

We had our last bookclub meeting of the year this evening. One member has been making these magnets with the books we read that year since we first started this club about 7 years ago. I love having them to look back at and see what all we have read together.

What if I told you that connecting with the divine involves learning how the divine loves and then going through the actionable steps to practice that same type of love in your own life? I guess some folks feel that’s too effeminate.

Has anyone ever driven to Walmart, looked at the parking lot, and just been like “nope, I don’t need ANYTHING that badly”? That was me this evening. I have no idea why so many people needed to go to Walmart on this blessed Thursday evening.
