On my 1 year anniversary in the Senate, I reflect on what it means to be both a caregiver and a United States Senator.

As I begin my own personal caregiving journey, I promise to fight for the care this country deserves, as I would for my own loved ones.

Host: Trump's tariffs are not helping farmers, and they're not directly paying for the bailout either. That's coming from a program that Congress appropriates every year. It's obviously ironic given the reason these farmers need this federal assistance is because of Trump's trade policies.

BREAKING: We’re suing the Trump administration to demand they release the secret memo they claim justifies their illegal strikes on civilians at sea.

Transparency must come immediately — while there’s still an opportunity to stop this cruel and unconstitutional bombing campaign.

Host: In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a home in Florida, pledging that it would be his principal residence. Just seven weeks later, he got another mortgage, attesting that it too would be his principal residence. This sounds like the standard Trump has used to go after his political enemies

There is no way to reframe this, tariffs hurt Americans.
You can throw money at it but the problem isn’t the money is was the trusted relationships we had selling and trading with other countries.
Arkansas farmer: It's a far cry from what we need. Just the loss in corn this year was over $16 billion. The loss in soybeans is around $11 billion. Cotton and rice are even bigger losses than that. $12 billion is not going to make up for this one year.

I don’t think they knew voting for him would impact them so deeply
Farmer: Farmers are not asking for a bailout. Donald Trump did this to us. We are hurting right now. We are the collateral damage

Arkansas soybean farmer on bailouts:

I want trade, not aid. I need a place to sell this stuff. I can work hard enough and make a product. They've painted us in a corner with this China deal and China not buying soybeans. They've tore a market in half.
