It has been a long while since I've read a book I disliked as much as the one I just finished, and it's a good reminder that not every book is for everyone. And that's okay! Read what you like and write what you need to--someone out there might hate it, but others will love it.

whatever happened to trade paperbacks?

i love my kindle but there's something sexy and mysterious about pulling a weathered, waterlogged, and dog-eared trade paperback out of your bag

Going to write about having a breast cancer scare while finishing A Tale of Two Titties bc truly nothing was funnier than wondering if mine were ok while writing about them constantly

Weird how sci-fi is so male dominated considering it was invented by a woman 👀

anytime I feel I’ve known peace for too long I just remember the man at a bar who asked me I “even knew what misogyny meant” and when I said “yes and I wrote a book about it” this motherfucker had the audacity to hold up a finger and say “I’m still speaking”

my writing has take a bit of a backseat as I panic at the state of the world, riding has been a safe haven to focus on only what’s ahead

I’m ready to return to my stories now — clear-headed and feeling brave(r)

If an author talks about their book it's like throwing a stone in mud. Bit of a splat but no great impact.

If a reader talks about that book it's like throwing a stone in a lake. Decent splash and ripples that go for miles.

Please, folks - talk about the books you love. Your power is magnificent.
