The California Senate passed #AB1127 — a bill that will stop the future sale of pistols that can easily be converted into fully automatic weapons. The bill’s passage means CA is one step closer to making history as the first state to take on the gun industry’s role in the spread of DIY machine guns.

Four years ago today, nine employees at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority rail yard were shot and killed by a coworker. Some of them were killed after they led others to safety.

Today marks two years since the horrific mass shooting in Half Moon Bay where seven people were senselessly killed. On the anniversary of this tragedy, my heart goes out to loved ones of those who were lost that day. They are not forgotten.
