I was doing so well, writing every day, hitting my word count goals, and then I ran face first into the burn out wall and I've done nothing in my "free" hours but snack, nap and watch Critical Role for three weeks.

If you’re looking for a free way to support an author, did you know you can ask your library to stock a book you want to read that they don’t have yet? And usually it’s a very basic online form? Google your library name plus the words “request a title” or “suggest a title” to find yours.

On this writing journey One thing I am slowly training myself to do is recognize when I need a break. When I start hating everything I write, it means I need a break. Put my brain into passive mode and let it chew on the things that are causing me trouble. Trying to power through never works.
