Just to give you an idea of the size of these fires

The Palisades Fire is 25% the size of Philadelphia or half of Washington DC and bigger than all of New York City

The Eaton Fire is half that size

I have previously posted links to help, please consider donating

California is facing another severe wildfire crisis, with multiple fires threatening communities across southern California. Several deaths have been reported, tens of thousands of families have been forced to evacuate, and many people have suffered significant injuries and burns. All donations to this fund will support wildfire relief and recovery efforts in California. Your donation will directly help people in need by providing food, water, and shelter through vetted nonprofits.

Q: How do you reach unhoused people in evacuation zones?

A: Well, we can’t. If people don’t have cell phones, it’s impossible. And if we’re physically blocked from getting to them, there is no communicating with them.
Losing your home is hell—but so is being unhoused in a wildfire

If you haven’t seen the HBO (max) recently released documentary, “Yacht Rock”, you’re missing out! 🛳️🪨

Its name was taken from a Channel 101 hit that went very viral back in the day (I had a teeny tiny role in Ep01, pics 1&3 on L)
