due to my health currently being very poor, mat has been my caretaker meaning he cant work rn while he helps me!

played a round of vampire survivors as alucard. I barely slept last night. Iwon and did well but also i wonder if being unable to sleep bc kids screaming running outside my door early as hell will fix my sleep schedule

There's an important lesson here; draw what YOU like. As an artist you have to cultivate your own tastes - your work is the most valuable when it's life reflected through YOUR lens. Have the courage to be disliked or to have your work disliked - it's okay that you're not for everyone!
man I'm way too easily impacted by the tastes of other people I respect. like 'oh, X friend doesn't like Y thing, I must never draw Y thing again'. trying to fight this mentality.
