"Time is not what a clock measures in general — time is the length of a path through spacetime."

You have no idea what just happened inside my brain when I read that. And neither do I.
Got my butt beat hard on League contracts tonight but I learned a bit from it. Namely, when *not* to buy contracts. Also I'm crafting a match analysis tool to run locally to help me out with understanding champ lineups (I'm incredibly weak here). Also developing a set trading strat.

Was it classified that high to keep it from Congress, or because it's that big of a deal? I'm leaning towards the former because it's the natural option for the most corrupt administration in American history.
Exclusive: A U.S. official has alleged wrongdoing by U.S. spy chief Tulsi Gabbard in a complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to people familiar with the matter.
Classified Whistleblower Complaint About Tulsi Gabbard Stalls Within Her Agency
Congress hasn’t seen the complaint, which was filed eight months ago with the U.S. intelligence community watchdog’s office.

I know everybody wants to blame DoJ for this but the blame belongs to Congress for not giving DoJ enough time. 30 days to redact millions of documents guaranteed this outcome no matter what DoJ did or didn't do.

Most recent one took 2+ hours. Sportsbooks (you know, real actual businesses) settle within minutes. These prediction market sites are poorly run garbage compared to them.
My biggest complaint with Kalshi so far is they take way too long to settle contracts. Disguised vs FlyQuest (League tournament) ended unambiguously a full hour ago and they still haven't paid out. That's an actual joke for a betting market. This needs to be MINUTES at most, not 1+ hours. 🤪

$53k lost, yet this account has $1 million in open positions and $2 million in profit. They won't even know it's gone. 🤢🤮

I know a lot of people instinctively hate things like Polymarket and AI, but I love technology and I see potential in many things to accomplish amazing stuff, and I'm going to play with all of it to see what it can do for me. Nobody will make choices like that for me, except me.

Am peeping on Polymarket for this League of Legends tournament match I'm about to watch. This doesn't say how much the shares/contracts were but right now Gen.G/yes is 84 cents, HLE/yes is 17 cents. So Mark0 here is risking $164k to either win $29k profit, or lose that $164k. Wow.

Appointed by Joe Biden. In 2014. Who needs AI slop when you can have human slop instead.

(League of Legends tournament stuff): BNK players have individual skill and very poor teamwork and strategy, they need a new coach. They make terrible team decisions CONSTANTLY and it's completely unacceptable for a pro team.

Decided to check out Polymarket and Kalshi out of nerd curiosity. Can't use Poly as it was banned in the US for years and then allowed back through blatant US corruption and all US users are just dropped onto a wait list (I'm #747,088). Kalshi seems neat.

The idea that data center techs are going to ask an LLM if they should follow their bosses directive to turn shit off is ridiculous. This is fantasy, the world does not work like that.

In the further interest of trying to admit whenever I'm wrong, in order to continue growing as a person: I was today-years-old when I learned that foreign embassies are not, in fact, foreign soil, and that host-country laws *do* apply inside of them.

I use LLMs every single day and find them insanely useful, but I still *love* this shit. Inject it straight into my veins.

Renting a giant TV may have made a little sense when they were expensive but dude TVs are pretty cheap these days. This idea is about 15 years late.

Interesting, I was lead to believe that intentionally driving a vehicle at somebody was turning into a deadly weapon that justified shooting into repeatedly.
I'm told these protesters suffered internal bleeding of the torso and are lucky to be alive but hospitalized
