Did some more on this subject a bit ago but I'm still debating how to go about yapping on it (do I want to do some doodles to accompany it, etc etc)
Read as: made Aidan a not-kitsune (long-lived foxes with the folkloric serial numbers filed off)
So now I'm pondering on birth rates.
Which is to say: they've probably got an abysmally low birth rate and their solution to that is taking the most fertile child-bearers and making them broodmothers.
