My husband baked a Meyer lemon pie. He doesn't bake, so this was a big deal. An old high school friend sent him a box of lemons from California. Also a big deal. Thank you. Thank you. #ME2AK #MeyerLemonPie #HusbandBakes #Friendship

It’s indefensible because Alaska Governor Dunleavy can find $28.5 million dollars to subsidize a ferry for a mine that nobody wants but he’s got no money for your kid’s school. #akleg

Social media marketing is just spam in my inbox. Everyone who's collecting emails before I can read your stuff, even for free, just stop. My Google storage is full, and I'm not paying them for more. One or two emails a month is enough. Nobody can read all that. #StopSpammingMe

First time drawing with charcoal. Thank you #mkmac and #FriendsOfTheAlaskanSLAM for the #SketchingInTheMuseum series. This simple sketch was also a good perspective practice.

The new model of US free market economics; only companies authorised by him (following a generous donation) are “allowed” to operate. And the irony is, there appears little appetite from most companies given up front costs & limited returns. Helps explain why so many of Trump’s businesses went bust.

TY @ThatWordChat!
Timely talk about AI as it relates to writing and editing. A few ideas that resonated with me:
1. AI is math, not intelligence.
2. AI doesn't sense or understand.
3. Many benefits & many concerns with AI.
4. Sustainable/energy requirements of AI is a big problem.

What does it mean to use AI responsibly? Corinne Jorgenson returns to #ThatWordChat to talk about the evolution of AI and why editors are now “curating cognition.”

I dread turning on the news. One thing for sure, I will not be watching CBS News or Katy Tur. We're witnessing the end of rules-based world order established after WW2. #DontBeFuzzyAboutThis

Boycott Walgreens. Bah humbug!
After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Corporate greed that would make even Scrooge blush.
