I tried to read the “new” (i.e. unfinished, post posthumously) Zora Neale Hurston book and DNF’d it. Not because it was “bad,” but because it felt like a rough draft. I can’t believe that ZNH would attach her name to that in the state it was in. 💙📚

I've been enjoying all the commentary about the funeral drama, but there is one thing that drives me crazy: Why do people think there is something up with Doug sitting to the left of Kamala? It's almost like they don't recognize that it could be the woman who is the dignitary.
