Incredible to receive my first short story published in print today. In January, I resolved to find someone who would print any combination of words anywhere. I could have hardly imagined being published in 3 different publications! Thanks to the writing community I’ve found here! Here’s to 2024!

Yesterday I finished Bolaño's 2666, the first book of his I've read, and I have never experienced a book I deeply loved at points and absolutely despised at others. At different moments, I was enamored with its craft, angry at its prose, pissed that I still had to read it, and then the opposite.

Found an incredible community of writers on that other site right before it was lit on fire. Hoping to connect with that same group of authors here as well.
