It’s not weird, it’s racist.
it's weird to see people complain about Bad Bunny's performance being in Spanish when there have been entire operas in Italian, German and French performed in the US and the top song of the last two years, K-Pop Demon Hunters' "Golden" has lyrics in Korean

Love this WaPo editorial that claims that Americans are not on stolen land...and then basically folds and says, yeah, it is stolen, but it would be such a paaaaaaaaaain to do anything about it.

I suspect that this is the real 80/20 law in a huge number of human endeavors.
so I spend up to 80% of the time I work on a story on research and reporting, which you don’t see but get evidence of in the published story—which is not unlike the ratio of political education, relationship building, and planning to the action you see that I’ve seen in organizing and movement work

I don't use this phrase usually, but if you bet on prediction markets I think you're a degenerate and yes, I judge you. You're making things worse.

Lauren Gunderson is connected to Jeffrey Epstein—her husband had tons of correspondence and discussed doing sexual research (!) connected to him, and they invited him to their wedding. All of this is years after Epstein's sexual predations were well known.

Sorry for being nosy but I’m in a pretty quiet airport. a woman sat down next to a much older pilot here in the food court and started very obviously flirting with him but he absolutely cannot stop listing off aviation facts to her regardless of whatever question she asks him

In depth article about Gunderson's husband, his plans to do sexual research with Epstein, and their hundreds of emails all from well after everyone knew:
