46 years ago today Peoples Temple founder Jim Jones led hundreds of his followers in a mass murder-suicide. Two weeks ago tomorrow former President Donald Trump led millions of his followers to reinstall him as president. It’s up to all of us to prevent his presidency from echoing that disaster.

Don’t buy into the illusion that Trump has a mandate to trample the rule of law or ignore the Constitution. He does not. Under 1/3 of eligible voters picked Trump. That is no mandate but a narrow victory.
