I managed the demolition of a 450,000 square foot building in downtown DC with asbestos pipe insulation, around the window frames, & in the drywall wall cavities. We had to send the whole building to a furnace before the materials were safe to recycle.
Cost a bloody fortune but worth it & lawful.
